Got the chance to help reveal the new All Star Logo for the NBA All Star Game happening in Toronto in 2016. Twitter as well as NBA Canada asked if i could create a Vine to make the reveal an even more interesting one for the social feeds. Here it is!
I got to cover the event as well. Here are a few photos from the event and it's main guest, Mr. Rookie Of the Year, Andrew Wiggins. After the press event, Wiggins then went to a local outdoor basketball court to surprise the young ballers that happened to be around. He greeted them, as well as handed out All Star T-shirts and Gym bags. Great experience. You can't help but think what these kids are thinking when something like this is going down. How this moment might just inspire one so greatly to be a better player, a better person! It's a moment that these kids will never forget and are probably talking their friends ears off this morning at school about. And what a better person to give them that experience. Andrew Wiggins is such a polite and well mannered person and you can tell it came from great parents (who were there as well by the way). He's the super athlete-role model poster boy. It was this big outdoor court surprise that I was most excited about. I put myself back into the shoes of these kids just to realize even further how cool of a moment this actually is.
